What changes for rentals outside the Boise metro?

Road permits, weather and access all change across our 10 counties. ACHD handles street permits in Ada County, highway districts split Canyon County, and Oregon rules apply in Malheur County. Mountain towns need firm, plowed access, and farm crews follow OSHA field sanitation rules.

Street placement: A unit in a public street or shoulder needs the road owner's permit. In Ada County, use the ACHD permitting page. Private land does not need one.
Mountain drops: Boise and Valley county cabins need firm ground within about 30 feet of the truck.
Health districts: Central District Health covers Ada, Boise, Elmore and Valley. Southwest District Health covers Canyon, Gem, Payette, Owyhee and Washington.
